If your recipe calls for veggies to be prepped in different ways, then the slicer and shredder is the one to reach for. Prep your ingredients in half the time and far more easily. With this mixer attachment, you just pop in the quick-change cylinders. These change the blade in seconds, as you move between one job and the next.
Make healthier versions with the grinder
With the grinder part of the KitchenAid mixer attachment set, you can choose your favourite ingredients to make homemade versions of all sorts of foods.
The fine plate gives you smooth results, for making paté or baby food, mixing spreads, or prepping meat for burgers, meatballs or sausages with a finer texture. The medium plate is for slightly chunkier burgers and patties, prepping vegetables for soups, casseroles, or veggie burgers, making breadcrumbs, or crumbling hard cheeses. The coarse plate gives you even chunkier results, which are the perfect texture for chilli, nut roast, or meat pies.
Use the slicing cylinder to evenly slice vegetables like cucumbers and celery. If you’re prepping cheese or firmer vegetables like carrots, go for the medium shredding cylinder. The coarse shredding cylinder powers through ingredients for a delicious coleslaw, or stir fry. Fresh, wholesome salads, soups, hash browns, sauces, or casseroles made the easy way.
